Swampland Shadows goes where the ground gets wet and the respectable wildlife turns strange. This IHH Wildlife collection centers on the animals of Southern swamps, bayous and wetlands—from familiar reptiles to birds, mammals, amphibians and other creatures that belong in the mud, water, reeds and cypress shadows.
The swamp is more than an alligator with Spanish moss behind it. Southern wetlands support a deep cast of wildlife, and Swampland Shadows is built to explore that variety one subject at a time. Expect species-led artwork grounded in recognizable wildlife and habitat, carried through a consistent IHH illustration language with natural-history character, controlled darkness and enough restraint to let the animal do the talking. The collection can move from alligators and nutria to herons, egrets, turtles, frogs, snakes, otters and other legitimate wetland inhabitants without turning every design into a Louisiana souvenir. Regional context belongs where it is real; wildlife comes first.
