Comfort Colors 1717 Size Guide
Comfort Colors 1717 is one of the blanks used for Southern Sisters designs. This guide explains the fit, measurements, fabric, care, and what to expect before ordering.
Fit and feel
a relaxed, heavyweight unisex tee with a garment-dyed, lived-in feel. It has a roomier silhouette and more substantial fabric than a lightweight jersey tee.
Garment measurements
Measure a shirt you already like, laid flat, and compare these garment measurements. These are not body measurements.
| Size | Width / chest | Length | Sleeve |
|---|---|---|---|
| S | 18¼" | 26⅝" | 16¼" |
| M | 20¼" | 28" | 17¾" |
| L | 22" | 29⅜" | 19" |
| XL | 24" | 30¾" | 20½" |
| 2XL | 26" | 31⅝" | 21¾" |
| 3XL | 27¾" | 32½" | 23¼" |
| 4XL | 29¾" | 33½" | 24⅝" |
Fabric and construction
6.1-ounce, 100% US ring-spun cotton with soft-washed, garment-dyed fabric, a rib collar, twill-taped neck and shoulders, and double-needle hems.
How to measure
- Width or chest: Lay a favorite shirt flat and measure straight across from armpit to armpit.
- Length: Measure from the highest point of the shoulder to the bottom hem.
- Sleeve: Measure from the center back of the neck, across the shoulder, and down to the sleeve end.
Ordering notes
The 1717 is relaxed rather than fitted. Compare width and length with a shirt you already like; do not assume its size will fit like a 3001.
Note: Manufacturer tolerances, garment dyeing, washing, and color availability can create small variations. Compare measurements with a shirt you already own before ordering.
